Admission Requirements for Transfer Students
An undergraduate transfer applicant is anyone who has attended a college, university, community college, or technical school after completing high school.
If you are a transfer applicant, you will be admissible to Ohio State ATI if you have earned at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) in all coursework attempted at all other colleges attended.
Transfer applicants with less than a 2.0 cumulative grade point average can sometimes be re-considered for admission through a special action process. This process requires additional paperwork later in the application tiemline and considers issues such as unusual circumstances related to the low grade point average, length of time since the below average coursework, time away from college, and so on. Please contact the ATI Office of Admissions if you have been denied admission to Ohio State ATI and believe your circumstances are truly unusual and you might, therefore, benefit from this additional review. Admission decisions are made by a University committee.
