Admission Requirements for Transfer Students

We hope you have decided Ohio State ATI is the right fit for you!  Please read this page carefully and contact the Office of Admissions if you have any questions.

Admission Requirements for Transfer Students
An undergraduate transfer applicant is anyone who has attended a college, university, community college, or technical school after completing high school.

If you are a transfer applicant, you will be admissible to Ohio State ATI if you have earned at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) in all coursework attempted at all other colleges attended.

Transfer applicants with less than a 2.0 cumulative grade point average may be considered for admission through the Special Action process. This process requires additional paperwork later in the application process and considers issues such as unusual circumstances related to the low grade point average, length of time since the below average coursework, time away from college, and so on.  Admission decisions are made by a University committee. Please contact the Office of Admissions if you believe your circumstances are unusual and you might benefit from this additional review.
