Extension

OSU Extension is the outreach arm of the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. We believe that Ohioans have the knowledge and resources they need to actively engage in creating conditions in which they thrive.

Our mission is to create opportunities for people to explore how science-based knowledge can improve social, economic and environmental conditions.

OSU Extension is a disseminator of the latest research and technologies, as well as the resources of Ohio State; and our statewide network provides a presence in every county. Extension promotes lifelong learning, and this includes a variety of online opportunities for learners at all stages of life.
