Ohio State ATI swept the three major dairy cattle judging competitions this year with their Nov. 8 win at the North American International Livestock Competition in Louisville, KY.
The team won by an impressive 67-point margin in Louisville, topping the 64-point margin by which they won World Dairy Expo. Hannah Dye was first place overall with 710 points. Teammates Tanner Topp and Kaleb Kliner were second and fourth, respectively.

Wooster, OH -- The Brookings Institution has analyzed the U.S. Department of Education's new College Scorecard database to produce value-added rankings for nearly 4,000 U.S. colleges, based on the earnings of alumni. Among 1,507 two-year colleges, Ohio State ATI scores 97/100, the highest of any two-year public institution in the state.

As Ohio State ATI’s student population shows a steady increase in the number of students planning to transition to a bachelor’s degree program, the services provided by Program Excel are also changing. Program Excel recently received its eighth consecutive Student Support Services Trio grant from the U.S. Department of Education. Through a highly competitive grant process, the program awards funds to institutions of higher education to support and motivate students toward the successful completion of a college degree.

Madison, WI -- The Ohio State ATI Dairy Cattle Team won the International Post-Secondary Dairy Cattle Judging Contest at World Dairy Expo. This contest is considered the national contest for 2-year, certificate, and other non 4-year colleges (post-secondary). The team won by 64 points and was high in oral reasons. Tanner Topp was high individual, Kaleb Kliner was third high individual, Hannah Dye was fourth high individual, and John Paulin was fourteenth high individual.

The Ohio State ATI Dairy Cattle Judging team turned in an excellent performance at the Pennsylvania All-American Dairy Show in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on Sept. 15. The team was first overall and first in oral reasons. Hannah Dye was second place individual, Tanner Topp was third place individual, Kaleb Kliner was fifth place individual, and John Paulin was sixth place individual. The team was coached by Don Hange.

LONDON, Ohio — The College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences at The Ohio State University will commit an additional $1 million in financial support to its undergraduate students for the 2016-17 academic year.
The announcement was made today by Bruce McPheron, vice president for agricultural administration and dean of CFAES, during the inaugural day of the Farm Science Review agricultural show, which runs Sept. 22-24 in London, Ohio, and is sponsored by the college.

The two-year degree-granting institution of the university’s College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, Ohio State ATI is ranked No. 1 in the nation in the awarding of associate degrees in agriculture and related sciences.
