  1. NEWS: Outstanding Students Recognized

    Wooster, OH -- Ohio State ATI recognized its outstanding students at the 29th annual Student Recognition Banquet on April 3. Students were selected on the basis of academic achievement, leadership, campus involvement, and work experience. Two students were selected this year to receive the Director's Award: Josiah Bale and Eric Tanner. Recognized as outstanding students were:

  2. NEWS: Two faculty earn Diplomate status

    Two Ohio State ATI faculty members, Dr. Elizabeth Parker and Dr. Shaun Wellert, sat for and passed the examination for Diplomate status in the Am erican College of Veterinary Preventative Medicine. The Diplomate status reflects their commitment to excellence in scholarship and service to the Ohio State community and the animal industries in Ohio. 

     

     

     

  3. NEWS: ATI alumnus selected as nationwide Teach Ag ambassador

    May 22, 2017

    ­­Kelse Brown, of Edgerton, Ohio, was recently selected as a National Teach Ag Ambassador, an outreach program of the National Council for Agricultural Education, led by the National Association of Agricultural Educators to promote the agricultural education profession. Brown is a 2016 graduate of Ohio State ATI, with an Associate of Science degree in agriscience education.

  5. NEWS: Gage Smith Awarded Gilman Scholarship for Study Abroad from the US Department of State

    Wooster, OH -- Gage Smith is one of over 250 American undergraduate students from 154 colleges and universities across the U.S. selected to receive the prestigious Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, to study or intern abroad during the Summer 2017 Early Application cycle. Smith is the first Ohio State ATI student to be awarded a coveted Gillman Scholarship. 

  6. NEWS: Ohio State ATI Announces New Director

    WOOSTER, Ohio – Access, affordability and excellence are three major reasons the Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute’s incoming director sought the position.

    Kristina M. Boone, Communications and Agricultural Education department head in the College of Agriculture at Kansas State University, will start her new role with ATI April 1, 2017.

  7. NEWS: Ohio State ATI top two-year college in Ohio for graduate salaries

    Homeroom, the official blog of the U.S. Department of Education, has released a state-by-state list of two-year colleges with the highest graduate earnings, and Ohio State ATI tops the list in Ohio and ranks number three nationally. The list was based on its College Scorecard, which provides access to a whole host of data verified by the U.S. Department of Education on thousands of institutions across the nation in an easy-to-use online tool.

  9. NEWS: New Greenhouse Program Launched

    Aug 3, 2016

    (Wooster, Ohio) August 3, 2016 – The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute (Ohio State ATI) recently approved a new greenhouse engineering technology specialization in their greenhouse and nursery management major. This program is unique in its engineering approach to traditional horticulture technology education and is the only two-year program in the U.S. for greenhouse engineering technology. 

  10. NEWS: Ohio State ATI student awarded scholarship from Fluid Power Educational Foundation

    The Fluid Power Educational Foundation (FPEF) Board of Trustees awarded Ryan Siefker of Ottawa, Ohio a $2,000 scholarship. Siefker’s scholarship was underwritten by IMI-Precision Engineering-Norgren. Siefker is double-majoring in power equipment and hydraulics at Ohio State ATI.
