If you’re a horse owner (or just an aficionado) looking to increase your equine expertise, you can take advantage of two equine courses offered spring semester: Horse Health and Disease, and Horse Breeding and Selection.
Horse Health and Disease is a study of equine disease, lameness, and emergency first aid with emphasis on preventative health care and the manager's role with the veterinary professional.

Nicole McMullen, a junior studying agriscience education, earned the top award in the interview contest during the virtual Region V Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences (MANRRS) Cluster. She will represent Ohio State and Region V at the National MANRRS Conference this spring. McMullen graduated in 2020 from Ohio State ATI with an Associate of Science degree in agriscience education.

The prevalent scarlet and gray most often seen at Ohio State ATI is being supplemented with a heavy dose of Kubota orange this fall.
Kubota Tractor Corporation is partnering with ATI to establish the Kubota Tech College training program. Students will be trained using high-tech Kubota equipment in areas such as diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and major repair.

The announcement was made by President Michael V. Drake at a meeting of the Board of Trustees and in a message to the university community.

Ohio State ATI has been named one of the five top trade schools in the U.S., according to Fox Business news. The rankings are from Niche, a higher education ranking and review site, which compiles student reviews and data from the U.S. Department of Education to determine their rankings. According to Niche, roughly 50 percent of graduating students earn a starting salary of about $37,900.

The three-person team of Kenneth Ramsier of Rittman, Owen Greene of Jackson, and Korey Oechsle of Van Wert took home first place at the Ohio Dairy Challenge, held on Nov. 1-2 at Mills Dairy Farm in Hayesville, Ohio. Eighteen teams from the Columbus campus, Wilmington College and Ohio State ATI competed. ATI fielded two teams, with the second consisting of Paige Holdridge, Shiela Miller and Felipe daCosta.
