WOOSTER, Ohio—Registration is open for the annual Greenhouse Management Workshop by The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES), set to be held virtually from Jan. 26–28, 2022.
The workshop will focus on integrated management of insects and diseases, with the speakers being experts from CFAES, the U.S. Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS), and industry. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST on all three days of the program.

Sara Mastellar, assistant professor in Ohio State ATI's Agricultural and Engineering Technologies Division, has been elected vice-chair of the executive committee of the National Association of Equine Affiliated Academics (NAEAA). Founded in 2007, NAEAA is a non-profit professional organization representing individuals from public and private institutions and the equine industry that strive to educate undergraduates within an equine academic program.

The CFAES Wooster - Ohio State ATI’s campus learning gardens will be open for display on Friday, Aug. 6 from 3-7 p.m..
Take a tour through our Horticultural Habitat themed plantings, including flower beds inspired by the Amazon, Everglades, Desert Outback, and Coral Reef.
Visit the All-America Selections display gardens showcasing AAS winning flowers and vegetables from the past five years of independent plant trials. AAS is a non-profit organization that tests new, never-before-sold plant varieties for the home gardener.

Wooster, Ohio has long played an important role for The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES).
Two of its major components, the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC), and the two-year associate degree-granting program, the Agricultural Technical Institute (ATI), got their start there in 1892 and 1968, respectively.

Horse Health and Disease is a study of equine disease, lameness, and emergency first aid with emphasis on preventative health care and the manager's role with the veterinary professional.

Nicole McMullen, a junior studying agriscience education, earned the top award in the interview contest during the virtual Region V Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences (MANRRS) Cluster. She will represent Ohio State and Region V at the National MANRRS Conference this spring. McMullen graduated in 2020 from Ohio State ATI with an Associate of Science degree in agriscience education.
