Foaling season at Ohio State ATI's Equine Center officially began on January 13 with a bay filly by Credit Fashion out of Cavaliers Victory.
According to Aspen Adams, horse herd manager, "We expect to have between 40 and 50 foals, with nine of those belonging to ATI brood mares." Foaling season typically runs from January to May, with students in ATI's equine degree programs assisting. The majority of the foals are standardbreds, many of which have gone on to successful racing careers.
