From August 2000 through December 2019 the Landscape Industry Certified Technician Test was offered in Ohio by a partnership of The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute (Ohio State ATI), Ohio Landscape Association (OLA), and Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association (ONLA). The partnership was licensed under strict guidelines to administer the test by the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP).
The Ohio Committee included the following very dedicated people: Ohio's test was organized and managed by a committee of professionals who volunteer their time and expertise to making Ohio's test one that many states turn to for advice and suggestions. It was comprised of professionals who commit to several days of work throughout the year in addition to the hands-on test day. Without such a dedicated leadership group, the Ohio Landscape Certified Technician test would not have be such a well-oiled machine!
