Meet the Ohio State ATI Residence Life Staff
The Office of Student Life's University Housing staff is excited to meet you. As you settle into your home away from home, I hope you find time to interact with the folks who will help foster your success while you live with us on campus.
|The Housing Coordinator is a live-in, professional staff member for the village. He provides local oversight of the housing operations including all aspects of student safety and security, conflict resolution and mediation, student conduct, educational and social programming, supervision of the student staff, advisement to Community Council, and collaboration with the First-Year Experience program and Office of Admissions.||The Apartments Manager is a full-time, live-in professional staff member who is responsible for office oversight, supervising office assistants, front desk operations, and mail and package receiving. She also coordinates all aspects of key inventory, social media marketing, budgets, and advising.|
The Resident Advisors (commonly known as RAs) are second and third-year students who have been trained in building community, act as resource people in the village, host educational and social programming opportunities, as well as hold their peers accountable to the Student Code of Conduct and Residential Living Handbook policies. Resident Advisors are leaders on campus who help maintain and create an environment conducive to learning. Each RA spends time getting to know his/her group of 20-45 residents each semester through guided interviews called "OH" and "IO" conversations. New Resident Advisors are selected each spring semester through an extensive application and pre-training seminar process and are required to maintain a 2.25 GPA.
