Care Team

WE ARE HERE TO HELP STUDENTS!

For emergencies, call 911.

The Care Team site is monitored Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., excluding University holidays and closures.

ATI is a campus community who cares about all its members. The Care Team strives to coordinate campus and university resources in order to promote student success by intervening in various ways to assist students experiencing a personal challenge to continue their education. All community members (faculty, staff, and students) are encouraged to identify and notify the Care Team of students who may need additional support.

Every student of concern that is reported to the Care Team receives an Outreach and Resources letter. The Care Team manages the situation by collaborating with academic departments, Student Life units, and other university units while maintaining individual student rights and preserving the campus learning, living, and working environment.

Any member of our campus community (faculty, staff and students) who know of a student who may need help can use our online referral form to request assistance. A representative from the office of Academic and Student Affairs or a designee will follow-up with the student to determine how we can best help.

College students experience personal challenges. The Care Team provides a system for coordination and communication across campus and university units. The Team’s coordinated care approach ensures that students experiencing personal challenges are offered resources to assist them to remain on their academic path.

Questions or concerns can be directed to Carri Gerber at gerber.140@osu.edu or Ruth Montz at montz.11@osu.edu.
