Emergency help for unexpected expenses
If you are an undergraduate student based primarily on the Wooster campus and facing a short-term financial emergency, Ohio State ATI may be able to help.
What this fund is for
The Wooster Campus Undergraduate Emergency Aid Fund supports students facing sudden, unexpected expenses that could make it hard to stay enrolled or attend class.
This fund is for short-term emergencies. It does not usually cover ongoing or expected costs like tuition, fees or regular housing expenses.
Examples of emergency expenses
This fund may help with urgent needs such as:
- Eviction or risk of eviction
- Utility shut-off
- Car repair needed to travel to campus
- Medical bills
- Other urgent needs reviewed on a case-by-case basis
Who can apply?
You may be eligible if you:
- are an undergraduate student enrolled primarily on the Wooster campus
- are in good academic standing with at least a 2.0 GPA
- have a FAFSA on file
- have already used available financial aid options
- have not received this emergency fund more than once during the academic year
Extenuating circumstances may be considered.
Note: You may be asked to provide documentation of your need. Some students may also be asked to complete one academic coaching session and one financial counseling session.
