BuckID Discounts

BuckID is more than just your official university identification card. Your BuckID is also a discount card for many local goods and services, as well as a debit account accepted as a form of payment both on and off The Ohio State Wooster campus.

Cardholders must show their BuckID card at Ohio State ATI/OARDC to check out library books, access the Student Activities Center (SAC), use equipment, attend events, and to play on any of the intramural sports teams.

Cardholders may also use their ID as a debit card at the Campus Bookstore, Cafe Carmen, Guerne Heights Drive-In, and the Dover Rd. Subway & Minit Mart. You or your parents may add funds to your BuckID account by using the “Make a Deposit” link on the official website at buckid.osu.edu. BuckID will send you a confirmation email reporting that money has been added to your BuckID account!  If you encounter any difficulty with the debit account function, please contact the Columbus campus BuckID Office at (614) 292-0400. To report a lost or stolen card, please call the 24-hour Student Life Information Technology Support Desk in Columbus at (614) 292-5700.

We are always open to adding new community business partnerships. If you are a local business and would like to take part in our BuckID Discount Program accessible to our students, faculty, and staff please contact the Student Activities Office at: (330) 287-1283 or via email.  Business interested in obtaining a BuckID card reader can apply online at: https://buckid.osu.edu/apply/external.  Cardholders may receive discounts on a variety of goods and services from local businesses simply by showing their BuckID at:
