Thursday, August 19 - Saturday, August 21, 2021

Scheduling Your Arrival

Move-in will occur between August 19 and August 21. The number of students moving in each day is limited in order to achieve physical distancing. You will need to go online to schedule a day and time for when you will arrive at Applewood Village, and the first day you can access the scheduling system is Saturday, August 1. You can update your arrival time at any point before the day you arrive. You MUST sign up for an arrival time prior to Move-In.  Please access the Move-In scheduling system at: go.osu.edu/moveinsignup. Watch your email for more information about Move-In.  You must complete the Safe and Healthy Buckeyes Training and Buckeye Pledge before moving in. 

Vehicle Information Registration (for all students) 

Parking at Ohio State ATI is complementary in all campus lots. No parking passes are required. However, all residential students, regardless of having a vehicle on campus, are asked to complete the following registration form prior to your move-in day. Residents may register multiple vehicles and only include those that may be on campus throughout the academic year. go.osu.edu/moveinsignup

Health and Safety

Face masks are required for all guests and students. Please only bring 1 or 2 people to help with move-in. 

While on campus, ensure you are engaging in physical distancing and active hand washing.  

Where to Arrive

Please follow the directional signage once on campus enter the Garrison Circle West entrance.  Please stop at the ATI Housing office upon arrival located at 1901 Apple Orchard Dr. Wooster, OH 44691. Pull up to the check-in station and remain in your vehicle. Have your BuckID ready.  You will receive your apartment keys and complete check-in paperwork.  After checking in, you will be directed toward your apartment.  Once unloaded, please move any visitor vehicles to the Skou Hall parking lot. 

BuckID  

Students who did not previously submit a BuckID photo will be asked to visit Student Success Services upon arrival, or you may be issued a temporary ID card. Those who successfully submit photos will have their BuckID pre-printed and available at Move-In Day check-in.  

Registering Devices  

If you are using an Ethernet cable to get online, you must register your computer or game system’s physical Ethernet MAC address in order to gain access to the local area network. An example of a MAC address and the registration form can be found online.  

Cable Television 

Residents of Applewood Village are provided with cable television service through MCTV. Residents should plan to bring a digital television and coax cable to connect to the port in the wall. Limited cable boxes are available for sign-out through the Housing Office for analog televisions.  

Mail  

When sending mail or packages to your campus apartment, please use the following address template. Packages or mail too large to fit into your campus mailbox will be held at the Housing Office front desk. You’ll be notified by email when a package arrives for you.

What to Bring & Handbook Regulations  

Reusable or shared items, such as most kitchen supplies, board games, sports equipment, etc. will be removed from the front desk. Please refer to the What to Bring List for more detailed information. As you pack and think about how to decorate your space, we encourage you to review the Residential Living Handbook.  

Dining Services  

To provide the highest level of service while facilitating physical distancing, mobile ordering and pick-up will be the preferred and most encouraged option for students and other guests.  Please consider downloading the GrubHub mobile ordering app prior to arriving on campus. You can find the download instructions here. Please reach out to Dining Services via dining@osu.edu if you have any questions.  

Information specific to Applewood Village 

Applewood Village Apartments have a common bathroom attached to each apartment. The students assigned to the apartment would be responsible for cleaning their own bathroom.   

Apartments in Applewood Village have a residential-style kitchen. Appliances such as a refrigerator and electric range are provided by the university but other kitchen items like a microwave, utensils, dishcloths, or pots and pans are not provided so please plan to bring those with you.
