The success of students is a priority for Ohio State ATI. In compliance with the Student Right to Know Act and Campus Security Act (Public Law 101-542), Ohio State ATI provides the following information about completion and graduation rates.
Retention rate indicates the percentage of first-time students that begin their studies in the fall and return to Ohio State ATI the following fall. For retention from Autumn semester 2013 to Autumn semester 2014, 68% of full-time students and 40% of part-time students returned (source: College Navigator; http://nces.ed.gov/collegenavigator/?id=204662).
Graduation rate measures the percentage of first-time, full-time students that complete their Ohio State ATI degree within 3 years (150% of 'normal time' for completion of an Associate degree). For students who began their degree programs in Fall 2011, 32% graduated within 3 years (source: College Navigator; http://nces.ed.gov/collegenavigator/?id=204662).
In addition to academics, career preparation and employment are key measures of overall student success. From the 2012-2015 survey of Ohio State ATI graduating students:
- 41% plan to continue their education following graduation
- 55% plan to work full-time following graduation; of those students, 68% are employed BEFORE graduation and 92% report having employment in their field of study
