Program 60

Program 60 is a University-wide program offering adult learners age 60 or older the option of enrolling in Ohio State University credit courses tuition-free!  If you are 60 or older and a resident of Ohio, you can enroll on a non-credit basis in the credit courses on our Wooster campus.

Area residents have taken advantage of Program 60 at Ohio State ATI to enroll in courses such as:

  • Energy Efficient Construction
  • Entomology
  • Horticulture Plant Materials
  • Welding & Metal Fabrication

Program 60 enrollment is on space available and instructor permission basis. Participants are responsible for purchasing their own books and supplies along with any course fee when applicable.

Important dates for Program 60 Autumn Semester 2025:

  • Registration to be a Program 60 student starts July 15, 2025, and ends at 12pm on August 15, 2025. You must complete a one time sign-up (one-time registration) if you are new or have not participated since before 2017 to be able to enroll in classes.
  • Course enrollment starts August 18, 2025, and ends at 3pm on September 5, 2025. You must complete a Program 60 Enrollment Request Form for your course enrollment permission.
