Carmen Help: New faculty, new instructors, or returning instructors may need help getting started in Carmen. Carmen itself has an extensive help system, but this page will help them with the basics and common actions.
Instruction: A librarian can visit any classroom to teach students how to do research both in general and for a specific assignment. Librarians can also help instructors create research-effective assignments for any course.
Reserves: Course items like supplemental readings or a textbook copy can be put on reserve for students to access. The library offers both physical reserves in the library or eReserves through Carmen.
Audio-Visual: The library circulates AV material to faculty and staff for university business. Check out our policies and list of equipment.
Copyright: The library is happy to assist faculty and staff with copyright issues pertaining to publishing, presentations, fair use, class handouts, etc.
Plagiarism Help: Instructors can get tips on how to teach students about copyright and what to do if they suspect it occurred.
Journal Impact: Information faculty members need to know to determine journal rankings and impacts for Promotion and Tenure.
