For students living on campus, the Applewood Village Apartments is their home away from home. The apartment complex is operated by the university's Office of Student Life. The apartment complex offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom townhouse apartments with a full-sized kitchen, a full-sized bathroom, living room, and patio. Bedrooms are usually shared by two students. Apartments are air-conditioned, and all utilities, including cable TV, are included in the housing fee.
Some furnishings are provided, including two beds per bedroom (which can be bunked or set up as lofts), one desk and dresser per student, a small multipurpose table with chairs, a TV cabinet, and table lamps. All windows are furnished with blinds. The OSU wireless network is available in all apartments. Students can also bring additional furnishings. See the list of "What to Bring to Campus."
The apartment community building contains a large multipurpose room for meetings and other activities, laundry facilities, a computer lab, and the housing office.
The offices for housing, maintenance, and housekeeping are located in the Ohio State ATI Housing Administration building in addition to the ATI Housing Laundry Facility and ATI Housing Community Room.
