The Goals:  To give supervisors the managerial skills they need to help enforce company policies and get results.  Specifically, Town & Country wanted to lower their Workers Compensation costs and improve efficiency.

The Solution:  Supervisory Skills training helped supervisors learn to coach and correct employee performance, handle difficult conversations, and reduce conflict.

The Results:  Supervisors learned supervisory skills necessary to enforce the company’s Behavior-Based Safety Program.   By improving the communication between direct line managers and employees, Town & Country Co-Op achieved these impressive results just within the first year:

  • 70% reduction in Workers’ Compensation claims
  • 22% reduction in medical risk cost per claim
  • 14% increase in efficiency
  • Additional savings of nearly $10,000 in administrative costs
